1. Unboxing and Initial Setup:
- Connect Your Device: Connect your Ledger Nano x to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Power On: Press the right button to turn on the device.
- Initialize: Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your device as new.
2. Setting Up Your PIN Code:
- You'll be prompted to set a PIN code.
- Enter your desired PIN code (4-8 digits) using the device buttons.
- Confirm your PIN code.
3. Recovery Phrase:
- Your device will display a 24-word recovery phrase.
- Write down these words carefully on a piece of paper.
- Do NOT store this phrase digitally.
- This phrase is crucial for recovering your funds if you lose your device.
4. Confirm Recovery Phrase:
- Your device will ask you to confirm the recovery phrase.
- Use the device buttons to select the correct words from the list.
5. Install Apps:
- Connect your Ledger Nano X to your computer and open the Ledger Live app.
- In the Manager tab, select the cryptocurrency apps you want to use (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the apps on your device.
Using Your Ledger Nano X:
- Connect Your Device: Connect your Ledger Nano X to your computer or mobile device.
- Unlock Your Device: Enter your PIN code.
- Open the App: Select the desired cryptocurrency app on your Ledger device.
- Authorize Actions: Use the device buttons to confirm transactions and other actions.
